The Rail Park is Philadelphia’s new railway turned public park. Restored with elevated walkways, lush plant life, and photogenic bench swings, the park has quickly become local residents’ favorite green space to enjoy city views, engage in community programming, or simply go for a stroll. And with plans to reach across three miles of unused rail lines—connecting ten neighborhoods over 50 city blocks—the Friends of the Rail Park wanted to generate as much excitement as possible, both over the progress that’s been made and in anticipation of the greater vision to come.
I created a variety of print and digital collateral designed to capture this sense of overflowing energy. From event posters to internal decks, every instance of the Rail Park brand was designed to convey the feeling of brimming enthusiasm for Philly’s newest public space for all.
